I am a 41 year old Englishman abroad. Well, to be honest, I’m more at home here in New Zealand than I think I could be in England any more. I live in Dunedin, down the cold end of the South Island, with my wife and two small children.
My hobbies are music (hence blog), football (not the rugby sort, the proper sort), squash and making a mess with power tools. I am one of the world’s most southerly Spurs fans and I’m fairly certain I can truthfully claim the title of the world’s most southerly Woking fan. Since emigrating to Dunedin, I’ve had to pretty much knock the gigs on the head, given that no decent bands come this far south, and flying to Auckland or Wellington is the equivalent of flying from the UK to Europe, and well, like I said, I’ve two ankle biters these days…
